The wooden stacking clown from Plan Toys demonstrates arrangement in order of width, form and colour, each shape consists of two sides for colour and shape matching. This enables the child to build up the clown step by step.

The Clown consists of the base and four wooden circles that make up the body of the clown and the top one which is attached to the clowns head. Each circle has a shape imprinted into each side of the circle for example a star on one side and an oval on the other. There are an additional 5 separate shapes and these need to be correctly matched into the bottom of the matching circle and the top of the next circle and so on, once finished the clown will stand up.

 

It is a clever educational toy designed for shape and colour recognition, logical thinking, language and communication development.
