Each letter of the alphabet is shown in four different formats in this phonetically correct set of flashcards. The children will be able to make an alphabet frieze, match cards with the same initial sound, build the self-correcting capital letter train or read commonly used words beginning with the same phonetic sound.

 

Matching lower case letters to capital letters will help the child to understand that each letter can be written in two different ways but retains the same phonetic sound.
